January Jazz Newsletter
Happy New Year! I begin the year at The Village at Orchard Ridge in Winchester this afternoon. Tonight I’ll ring in the New Year with the Sweet Something quartet at Fiona Mare in Georgetown—it’s a pretty swanky place and if you want exceptional food, service, and surroundings, you should check it out.
Thanks to every client, restaurant, bride, and booking agent for making 2019 exceptional. I played 184 gigs in the year, with the most coming in the month of December with 24 in that month alone. While December was the month of privates events—holiday parties mostly, with a few weddings thrown in—January is all about public events.
