September Events

Well, as usual I’m sending this out too late for you to catch the first gigs of the month. Sorry about that! You missed (I know — several of you didn’t) the JW Marriott with Sweet Something. Don’t worry we’re there again on the sixteenth so you can redeem yourself. Additionally in the past: the Sweet Something duo at Lightfoot (thanks to everyone who came out — the bar was full) and the SS duo at CUT DC in Georgetown at the Rosewood Washington DC (Sweet Something’s first gig there).

Now for the future: the usual Tuesday/Thursday jazz at Travinia at the Village at Leesburg. The only dates I won’t be there are September 15 (Keith Salley will join Kevin) and September 24 (my teacher, Bob Larson will be there with bassist Daniel Brown).

I’ve got two upcoming dates with Loudoun County Public Library. Firstly, I’ll be playing solo piano at Middleburg Library on September 12. Expect solo piano jazz standards. I won’t play too loud so you can still do library activities. On September 26 I’ll be at Lovettsville Library in northern Loudoun County. I’ll play some piano then meet you for coffee.

Finally, I’ll be at Godfrey’s in Falls Church accompanying vocalist Jeanie Sausele on September 12.. Zack Williams is on bass.
