Last month I began a weekly Saturday brunch gig at Bourbon Boulevard Chantilly. It was intended to go on indefinitely, but after four weeks management decided to pull the plug. But that’s the way it goes with new restaurant openings. Brand new restaurants often want live music—and sometimes it even lasts. It works out fine thought because now I can spend Saturday mornings relaxing with family. Or mowing the yard.

Even though I’m taking a bunch of days in June off for birthdays, graduations, and a week-long camp, I’ve got quite a busy and varied schedule. Find me in Leesburg on Thursday or Fridays, or in Chantilly on June 2nd, or at Loew Vineyards in Maryland on June 12th or 26th. At the end of the month I’ll be at Crooked Run Brewing Leesburg for their anniversary party.
