December Jazz Newsletter
The biggest thing going on jazz-wise this month is our annual concert at the Barns of Rose Hill on Friday, December 9th. Expect holiday tunes and a few standards. Thanks to the Bank of Clarke County’s generous sponsorship, the entrance fee is $5 or two canned items to be donated to the Christ Church Cares Food Pantry in Millwood. Get tickets here.
On December 13 and 27th we continue our residency at the Thompson Washington DC. It’s vocal jazz with Sweet Something. Vocalist Ariana Harbin is joined by Jeff Cuny on upright bass and myself on piano.
While I’m so busy with private events, Travinia in Leesburg is keeping the music alive on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Check the Loudoun Jazz Society’s website to see who is playing each evening. Then (as of right now) I will be back there on the 19th, 21st and 28th.
Can’t wait to see you soon. Merry Christmas.
