This month’s photo is of the gilded Steinway B at the Perry Belmont House in DC. It’s always fun to encounter this rare and unique piano. This months gig included the regular (Travinia and Lightfoot in Leesburg), the semi-regular (Washington Hilton), the rarely (District Provision & Supply Co. in Hagerstown), and the brand-new-never-before (Thompson Washington DC).

The Thompson Washington DC has booked us for two Wednesdays a month so join me, vocalist Ariana Harbin, and upright bassist Jeff Cuny from 5-7 on October 18, November 8 & 29, or on December 13 & 27.

Also new, Cunningham Chapel, the Episcopal church in the village where I live has begun a concert series. I’l be playing for that series with upright bassist Jacob Pembelton (and possibly a drummer) on October 25. More info on that soon.
