From spare piano musings of Murmur to the craggy electronic Moored Boats, Emergence represents a start. A new beginning. Recorded on a felted upright piano, a Mason & Hamlin reed organ, and a collection of analog synths, Emergence was born from the isolation and life-jarring changes of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recorded in the early-morning hours before the family wakes, listening to the album is literally hearing the sunrise. 

The collection of improvisations hints at what’s to come. With several more albums already recorded, expect much more music in 2021.
