November Jazz Newsletter

Hi friends,

We’re a week into the month of November, so my report begins with November events that have already happened.

On November first, I played at C’est Bon in Round hill with Kevin Johnson and Dominic Cardinal. Our usual trio show began to evolve when I got a call from an old friend, Maddy Curtis. Maddy grew up in the Purcellville area, but has since relocated to Asheville, North Carolina with her family. She was back in the area seeking reprieve from the stress of cleaning up after hurricane Helene.

Since Maddy was back, she joined us for a set at C’est Bon with all the tip money going to the charity BeLoved Ashville. In all we collected almost $300—pretty good for a small jazz showcase.
